Very excited to announce that Small World, the coöperative project between Belgium (with Ewout Pierreux, piano / Steven Delannoye, tenor sax / Teun Verbruggen, drums) and South Africa (with Marcus Wyatt, trumpet / Romy Brauteseth) will be touring South Africa this coming August. After two successful tours in Europe in recent years (2016 and 2018) and a live album, recorded at Bird’s Eye Jazz Club in Basel, Switzerland, it is time to bring the music to the motherland :-).

Here’s the itinerary:

August 8 – The Reeler Theatre (Rondebosch Boys High School), Cape Town

August 9 – Evita Se Perron, Darling

August 10 – Ian Burgess-Simpson Pianos, Cape Town

August 11 – The White House Theatre, Plettenberg Bay

August 14 – Stirling High School Music Centre, East London

August 15 – The Jazzy Rainbow, Durban

August 16 – Bantu Roving Kitchen, Johannesburg

August 17 – Just Badela, Soweto

To our South African audience, make sure to check Small World’s Facebook-page for more updated info when dates come closer. If you’re in the neighbourhood, make sure to check the band out. 🙂

Cheers everybody, and we hope to see you somewhere soon!
